Sheyla Leacock

Sheyla Leacock is an Ambassador for Fundación Comunidad Dojo, a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering cybersecurity talent and professional development. She is also an Associate Manager for Application Security at a multinational telecommunications company, bringing over ten years of experience in cybersecurity across the telecommunications, banking, and education sectors.
She is also the Co-founder and Leader of Women of Security (WoSEC) Panama and the Leader of the AWS User Group Panama, actively driving initiatives to empower the cybersecurity and cloud technology communities.
As a speaker, instructor, and mentor, she shares her expertise at international conferences, advocating for cybersecurity best practices and diversity in the industry. In 2021, she was recognized as one of the Top Women in Cybersecurity Latin America by WOMCY and is an alumna of the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP), a U.S. Department of State initiative that has strengthened her leadership in global cybersecurity and technology.
