Engineer with more than 15 years of experience in the IT sector and more than 10 years of specialization in Computer Security. He has been CIO and CISO in private companies, as well as in government agencies in Panama, where he has developed and implemented Information Security Strategies, Standards, Norms and Policies. He has been a certified trainer for leading manufacturers of information security systems for 10 years. Since 2019, he has led the National CyberSecurity Directorate of the National Authority for Government Innovation, leading the country's efforts for deployment of the National CyberSecurity Strategy, which seeks to strengthen "Data Privacy", "Dissuade and Punish Cybercrime”, “Protection of Critical Infrastructures” and promote the “National Culture of Cyber Security”. He also leads the CSIRT-Panama, providing a timely response to Cyber Security Incidents in Panama.
