Adolfo José Fábrega García de Paredes

Adolfo Fábrega, General Administrator of the National Authority for Government Innovation, has 20 years of experience in the technology and software development industry. He graduated from the University of Notre Dame in the United States, where he obtained a degree in Information Systems Engineering. Subsequently, he participated in executive programs at INCAE and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Fábrega worked for six years in the technology area of the banking industry. He then founded and served as General Manager of Pensanomica, S.A., a software company based in Panama focused on the development and distribution of the ERP system Flexio Software, a system used by more than 110 companies in industries such as construction, services, rentals, distribution, and banking. Fábrega is currently the President of the Board of Directors of Pensanomica.

He has held various positions and functions, including being a member of the National Commission of Science, Technology, and Innovation of SENACYT, a founding partner of Global Marine Group (GMG), and a technology professor at Universidad del Istmo. In 2010, he was appointed advisor by the United Nations Development Programme in the National Directorate of Technology of AIG, where he is currently nominated for the position of General Administrator pending approval by the National Assembly.

Fábrega has also served as President of the Chamber of Commerce, Industries, and Agriculture of Panama during the period 2023-2024. Additionally, he is part of the boards of directors in companies in the financial and technology sectors
