Mr. Caspi is an experienced security researcher who specializes in vulnerability research, malware analysis, network forensics and IOT security. During his military service, Mr. Caspi gained operational cyber experience in IDF’s elite intelligence unit. He took part in several prized projects as a pentester and as a researcher. His work is highly appreciated in the cyber community, with under his belt having worked on securing automotive systems for the Volkswagen group, counseling for multiple startups and guest lecturing in the Freie Universität Berlin and for the Tel Aviv University. One publishable vulnerability he discovered and exploited is Hell2Cap, an unauthenticated code execution in a popular embedded Bluetooth stack affecting 100 million devices in the automotive, industrial, medical, mobile, and consumer industries. Mr. Caspi has been a leading DART instructor since 2019.
