Philippe Aniorté is Director of INDICATIC (Instituto de Investigaciones Científicas Avanzadas en Tecnologías de Información y Comunicación) INDICATIC AIP, Panama, since June 2022.
He was Full-Professor at UPPA (France) since 2006. He is entitled to supervise research since 2004 when he defended his HDR (specific French grade) at UPPA untitled “Towards heterogeneous distributed Systems: A MDE component-based approach”. His Ph.D. Thesis was defended in 1990 at UPS - Toulouse (France). He worked in the LIUPPA lab. from 2009 to 2015, he was the head of this laboratory. His current researches deal with a MDE approach for the design and the implementation of distributed complex systems. More recently, he oriented his researches toward Systems of Systems (SoS) and Smart Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS), especially in Education.
Since 2000, he drove many international projects in Higher Education with Latin America, at various levels, with a focus on “Posgrado” (Maestria and Ph.D. Thesis). From 2000 to 2005, he works as an international expert with SFERE (Société Française d’Exportation de Ressources Educatives) to build new curricula in different institutions in Latin America, mainly Colombia and Chile.
